General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of obdstar.ch

1. General

The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply in their respective valid version to all contracts and legal transactions concluded via the online shop www.obdstar.ch (hereinafter “Online Shop”). By submitting an order, the customer agrees to these GTC.

2. Prices, VAT & vRG

All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include statutory Value Added Tax (VAT) as well as the advance recycling fee (vRG), unless otherwise noted.

3. Payment Terms and Methods

Payment is made exclusively in advance unless expressly agreed otherwise. By submitting the order, the customer undertakes to make payment on time and to accept the goods. In case of non-compliance, administrative costs will be incurred and must be borne by the customer.

4. Orders Placed by Mistake

If an order was placed by mistake, the customer is obliged to contact us immediately after receiving the order confirmation, but no later than within two hours, by email or phone to request cancellation. If no timely notification is made, the order shall be considered binding.

5. Warranty

As an authorized OBDSTAR distributor in Switzerland, we grant the full manufacturer’s warranty of 24 months from the date of the order number. Repairs outside the warranty are offered at fair conditions.

5.1 Scope of Warranty

The warranty covers all OBDSTAR products purchased from obdstar.ch (e.g. motorcycle diagnostic devices, ECU programmers, OBD cables, and accessories). Excluded are wear parts as well as damages caused by improper use, unauthorized repairs, software errors, incorrect power supply, or improper transport.

5.2 Procedure in Case of Warranty

Please contact our support at info@obdstar.ch first and do not return devices without prior consultation. Unauthorized returns may be rejected or involve additional costs.

6. Delivery and Shipping

Delivery is usually carried out by Swiss Post or DHL Express. The customer is obliged to check the goods immediately upon receipt. Any defects must be reported within 7 days. Returns must be made with a form and invoice; costs are borne by the customer.

7. Product Liability

Vehicle-specific devices may vary depending on the model year. Please check compatibility before purchasing.

8. Disclaimer

No liability for consequential damages or installation/removal costs, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

9. Legal Regulations

The customer is solely responsible for compliance with all relevant legal regulations.

10. Copyright and Image Rights

All content on obdstar.ch is protected by copyright.

11. Final Provisions

Place of jurisdiction is the company’s registered office in Switzerland.
